The Blitz was the appearance of German bombers in the skies of London that appeared during the 7th of September 1940 as a tactical attempt to subdue Great Britain. 40,000 civilians were killed and 46,000 were injured. More than a million homes were destroyed and a big amount of damaged caused to the industrial installations. This caused many civilians to seek refuge in the underground station.
Here, I revisit those stations by using archival photographs taken during that time and I re-photograph using the same perspective which would lead me to then overlaying both photographs together.
